U.S. Navy Construction Mechanic 2nd Class Randolph Gonzales, a seabee assigned to Naval Construction Group 1 (NCG 1), begins to replace the radiator a MTVR MK31 truck on Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme, Calif., May 6, 2026. NCG 1 is homeported in Pt. Hueneme, and leads and manages the overall capability and readiness of its Naval Construction Regiments (NCR’s), Naval Mobile Construction Battalions (NMCB’s), Construction Battalion Maintenance Unit (CBMU), and Underwater Construction Team (UCT).
