U.S. Soldiers assigned to the 25th Infantry Division carry MRE boxes during the Green Mile, the culminating endurance event of the Jungle Operations Training Course (JOTC), as part of Exercise Balikatan 2026 at Fort Magsaysay, Philippines, May 5, 2026. The Green Mile serves as the final physical test for Soldiers to earn their Jungle tab. Balikatan is a longstanding annual exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. military that represents the strength of our alliance, improves our capable combined force, and demonstrates our commitment to regional peace and prosperity.
