NATO special operations forces receive instruction before creating hide sites during a live fire exercise at the International Special Training Centre’s night sniper course in Grafenwoehr, Germany, April 30, 2026. Students learned how to better construct hide site positions for concealment and observation, while accounting for infrared detection and drone threats. 10th SFG (A) and NATO special operations forces learned to adjust for environmental factors and limited visibility, ensuring consistent shot placement during nighttime operations.
