Recently, our medical personnel and emergency responders participated in a post-wide mass-casualty (MASCAL) exercise designed to test coordination, communication and lifesaving capabilities during a large-scale emergency scenario.
Exercises like this help ensure teams remain ready to respond quickly, effectively and with precision when called upon. Throughout the exercise, staff continued providing patient care while simultaneously executing emergency response operations, demonstrating the professionalism and readiness required in a real-world incident.
Soldiers, staff and partners worked diligently throughout the exercise to strengthen readiness and reinforce the ability to provide critical care under pressure.
