Green Berets with 2nd Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), U.S. Special Operations Command Europe move to their starting point at the beginning of Exercise Deep Strike at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany, April 25, 2026. This training scenario involved a team of Green Berets infiltrating a 150-kilometer stretch of flat terrain undetected and then launching a drone strike to neutralize a high-value target. Training in realistic, geographically denied terrains ensures U.S. SOF and NATO forces are prepared to respond rapidly to emerging threats while maintaining collective defense.
