YOKOSUKA, Japan (May 4, 2026) — Cmdr. Patrick Gutierrez, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) chief staff officer, and Morale, Welfare and Recreation’s Food and Beverage Director Richarda Rodriguez cut the ceremonial ribbon for the opening of Seaside Café at CFAY, May 4, 2026. For more than 80 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
