Joe Cahill, commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic, presents a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal to Electrician's Mate 1st Class Terrence Beasley, a Sailor assigned to the Freedom-class littoral combat ship USS Nantucket (LCS 27), during a scheduled visit to Naval Station Mayport, April 27, 2026. Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic is responsible for manning, training, and equipping assigned surface forces and shore activities, ensuring a capable and combat-ready force to support U.S. national interests.
