Volunteers plant native vegetation on Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola's White Island during a Morale, Welfare and Recreation-sponsored shoreline restoration volunteer event. The event, in coordination with Escambia County and the Living Shoreline initiative, allowed volunteers to plant more than 2,500 wetland grasses commemorating NAS Pensacola's 200th birthday.
