U.S. Army Spc. Katherina Davidson, 2ABCT 1-35 AR GFSC, 2/1 Armor Division, monitors a casualty as she awaits assistance for evacuation. Twenty-two U.S. Army Soldiers participated in a mass casualty culminating event during the 1st Battalion, 254th Regiment (Infantry) Combat Medic Specialist (68W) transition course at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., on April 17, 2026. The course is an opportunity for Soldiers to reclassify their MOS, in 64 days compared to four months at Advanced Individual Training (AIT). Upon completion, they receive their National Registry Emergency Medical Technician and CPR certifications as well as being awarded the Combat Medic 68W MOS.
