U.S. Airmen assigned to the 36th Contingency Response Squadron offload a diesel powered water pump from a K-loader at Saipan International Airport, Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, April 27, 2026. The water pump draws raw water to a Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit that is deployed in support of bringing usable water to Saipan residents through a series of filtration processes. All support efforts are conducted in close coordination with local, territorial and federal partners to ensure a unified and efficient response to Typhoon Sinlaku disaster relief.
