A life ring is affixed to the railing of U.S. Coast Guard Barque Eagle (WIX 327) while at sea as the cutter embarks on a 106-day journey, May 1, 2026. The Eagle will be sailing down the Eastern seaboard and will be available for public tours at multiple port of calls as well as all five Sail 250 ports: New Orleans, Louisiana; Norfolk, Virginia; Baltimore, Maryland; New York, New York; and Boston, Massachusetts.
