Chico, a dog cared for by U.S. Soldiers assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, NATO Forward Land Forces Battle Group-Poland, receives the Army Achievement Medal from 1st Sgt. Joseph O’Brien and Command Sgt. Maj. Michael Mezzacapo at Bemowo Piskie Training Area (BPTA), Poland, May 1, 2026. Chico has become a familiar part of daily life at BPTA.
