A Green Beret assigned to 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) fires a pistol downrange during Exercise Balikatan 2026 at Fort Magsaysay, Philippines, April 27, 2026. Green Berets and Joint Special Operations Command Armed Forces of the Philippines operators conducted a combined range to enhance lethality and interoperability between the two forces. Balikatan is a longstanding annual exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. military that represents the strength of our alliance, improves our capable combined force, and demonstrates our commitment to regional peace and prosperity.
