YOKOSUKA, Japan (March 9, 2026) — Capt. Matthew Keller, an ear, nose and throat and facial plastic surgeon assigned to U.S. Naval Hospital (USNH) Yokosuka, and Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Shaun Tuni, a surgical technologist assigned to USNH Yokosuka, perform structural reconstruction of the nose during a functional septorhinoplasty using precision instruments and electrocautery. USNH Yokosuka provides forward-deployed surgical capabilities that enhance warfighter readiness and improve patient care across the Indo-Pacific region.
