The 593d Corps Sustainment Command SHARP team hosts a color run event in observance of April's Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, April 30, 2026, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. The color run served as the capstone event for April's SAAPM observance, reinforcing this year’s theme, “STEP FORWARD: Prevent. Report. Advocate.” Teal is the recognized color for sexual assault awareness, and the event was organized to promote the 2026 SAAPM theme, “STEP FORWARD: Prevent. Report. Advocate,” as a call to action for all service members to use their collective strength to eliminate behaviors that erode unit effectiveness, support victims, and prevent sexual violence in the ranks.
