NORFOLK, Va. (April 28, 2026) – San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS San Antonio (LPD 17) returns to Naval Station Norfolk following an over eight-month deployment with the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group (IWO ARG), April 28, 2026. San Antonio, as part of the IWO ARG, deployed to the Caribbean in support of U.S. Southern Command, Department of War-directed operations, and the president’s priorities to disrupt illicit drug trafficking and protect the homeland.
