Joe Cahill, commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic, presents the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal to Senior Chief Gas Turbine Systems Technician (Surface Warfare) James McGarry, a Sailor assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99), during a scheduled visit to Naval Station Mayport, Florida, April 28, 2026. Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic is responsible for manning, training, and equipping assigned surface forces and shore activities, ensuring a capable and combat-ready force to support U.S. national interests.
