The Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) displays its capabilities and ongoing experimentation efforts at its booth during Modern Day Marine 2026 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., April 29, 2026. MCWL Futures Division has developed a service-framed 2035 Future Operating Environment (FOE) that leverages work from across the Joint Force and Allied/Partner strategic foresight communities. Our detailed and insightful 2035 FOE will be a thought leader across this community and already facilitates closer cooperation and refinement of future military challenges facing the Marine Corps and the Joint Force. This assessment will allow Marine Corps leaders to make enhanced, targeted investments in modernization priorities and research that support warfighters and the service.
