Working in near-record temperatures as high as 117 degrees, airmen must hydrate frequently in order to avoid heat related injuries such as heat stroke. Additionally, work-rest cycles should also be considered. The heat wave, which includes parts of California, Nevada and Arizona, is expected to last the rest of the week.
