U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Ibukunoluwa Olabomi, right, comptroller noncommissioned officer in charge, and U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Elizabeth Ratzlaff, corpsman, both with Headquarters and Service Company, Marine Barracks Washington, are recognized by battalion leadership during a formation at Marine Barracks Washington, D.C., April 24, 2026. Ratzlaff was commended for successfully stabilizing and managing a high-risk cardio referral in Yuma, providing care for a case of acute injury, and managing 15 musculoskeletal injuries for the unit. Olabomi was recognized for his selection as the Chesty handler for the second consecutive year and his continued service with the Dover dignified transfer team. These service members exemplify the high standards of professional excellence and multifaceted dedication required to support the ceremonial and security missions required by barracks Marines, Sailors and civilians.
