NAVAL STATION GREAT LAKES (April 28, 2026) — Students and Staff assigned to Surface Warfare Engineering School Command (SWESC) Great Lakes were joined by Naval Station (NAVSTA) Great Lakes' Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) team in planting a flower garden outside the SWESC's administration building, April 28, to commemorate April as 'Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Month' on board NAVSTA Great Lakes. Naval Station Great Lakes Commanding Officer, Capt. Steve Yargosz, had signed a proclamation at the beginning of the month declaring April 2026 as Sexual Assault and Prevention Awareness Month.
