Joe Cahill, commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic, presents awards to Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Lassen (DDG 82) during a scheduled visit to Naval Station Mayport, April 27, 2026. Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic is responsible for manning, training, and equipping assigned surface forces and shore activities, ensuring a capable and combat-ready force to support U.S. national interests.
