Micheal Robledo, a powerline mechanic, both with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 122, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, greet each other during unit level training at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, April 24, 2026. VMFA-122 arrived at MCAS Iwakuni as part of the Unit Deployment Program to augment VMFA-242, MAG-12, 1st MAW. The UDP enables squadrons across the Marine Corps to develop expeditionary capabilities while providing security throughout the Indo-Pacific.
