NATIONAL HARBOR, Maryland (April 20, 2026) – Vice Adm. Doug Perry, commander, U.S. 2nd Fleet, speaks as a panelist during Sea-Air-Space (SAS) 2026. During the panel, “Securing the Polar Frontier: U.S. Maritime Strategies for Arctic Dominance,” Perry discussed the importance of interoperability with our allies and partners in the Arctic. SAS 2026 provides a premier opportunity for the Department of the Navy (DON) to showcase its central role in 250 years of America’s maritime dominance, while aligning with the Office of the Secretary of War and DON priorities and reaffirming the Navy’s commitment to combat readiness.
