A Libyan joint forces soldier participates in live-fire training during Flintlock 2026 in Sirte, Libya, April 19, 2026. Libyan joint forces led planning and execution against simulated threats, supported by mentorship from multiple nations, including Italian special operations forces. Since 2005, Flintlock has served as U.S. Africa Command’s premier annual special operations exercise.
