Service members assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border participate in Day 4 of Air Assault training at Fort Huachuca, Ariz., April 24, 2026. The candidates, composed of U.S. Soldiers and Marines, conducted rigorous physical exercises and began classroom training on how to properly inspect a M1102 High Mobility Trailer, which will prepare them for upcoming course requirements. U.S. Northern Command is working side-by-side with the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection within narrowly defined authorities to provide unique military capabilities to protect the territorial integrity of the U.S. southern border.
