A Philippine Army soldier assigned to 54th Infantry “Magilas” Battalion, 5th Infantry Division, exits a CH-47 Chinook while conducting cold load training as part of Exercise Balikatan 2026 at Cagayan North International Airport, Lal-Lo, Philippines, April 22, 2026. The trilateral cold load training included multiple repetitions of entering and exiting a CH-47 Chinook in preparation for an upcoming long-range maritime air assault exercise.
