Lance Cpl. Dylan Beppler, 21, a native of Cedar Hill, Tenn., and a motor transportation mechanic with 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 7, tightens a nut on a tire in the maintenance bay here, June 16, 2013. The mechanics must be ready for anything from basic repairs like replacing broken mirrors to removing an entire cab from a seven-ton truck. “Some repairs are easier than others,” said Beppler. “But whether it’s something as simple as a tire or oil change, every repair matters just the same.”
