U.S. Marine Cpl. Zack Larson, Bravo Company, Marine Barracks Washington, orders his Marines to fire a volley of blank rounds during firing party tryouts for the Coca-Cola 600 at Marine Barracks Washington, D.C., on April 20, 2026. Squads from Alpha and Bravo Company competed against each other to determine which company will be performing at the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlottes Motor Speedway in North Carolina. The squad that is selected will have the honor of performing at other events such as America’s 250th, MBW’s Tuesday Sunset Parades at the U.S. Marine Corps War Memorial and performing at funerals to honor all fallen Marines, active or retired, for the remainder of the year.
