Garrett Mastin, an operations noncommissioned officer with the 881st Troop Command, both of the South Dakota Army National Guard, line up their formation before physical training at Ayoko, Suriname, April 18, 2026. The event was part of Operation Rumble in the Jungle, a survival exchange in an austere environment designed to test the forces' ability to operate together in demanding jungle terrain.
