Sabine Silverstein, a supervisory contracting officer at Public Works Department Souda Bay, Greece, receives the 2025 Supervisor of the Year award from Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Europe, Africa, Central (EURAFCENT). The ceremony, held at Naval Support Activity Naples, recognized Silverstein for her leadership in maintaining operational readiness by awarding a critical $75 million Multiple Award Construction Contract, ensuring mission-critical infrastructure projects proceeded without delay. NAVFAC EURAFCENT delivers construction, engineering and contracting as a critical component of the Navy Shore Enterprise across Europe, Africa and Middle East to enable Fleet and joint force lethality and power projection across the competition continuum.
