The Port Dawg Challenge trophy, affectionately named “Shepherd,” awaits its new masters after being relinquished by the competition’s previous winners during the 2026 PDC on Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia, April 14, 2026. The PDC is a biennial Air Force Reserve Command competition, pitting the command’s aerial port squadrons and several international teams against each other across a variety of events, designed to showcase the skills necessary for air transportation specialists, or port dawgs, to accomplish the Air Force mission.
