Lt. Gen. Donna Shipton, commander, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, met with Maj. Gen. Park, Chung Un, commander of the Republic of Korea’s Air Force Logistics Command, during his visit to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, April 6, 2026.
Park entered his new position in January and was visiting Wright-Patt to get a better understanding of the ROKAF’s extensive Foreign Military Sales (FMS) portfolio.
“The site visit with Major General Park and his team offered an excellent opportunity to discuss ways to strengthen our combined forces and expand the vital partnership between our nations,” said Shipton.
Also in the meeting were Dennis D’Angelo, AFLCMC’s executive director, and Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Geraghty the director of AFLCMC’s Air Force Security Assistance and Cooperation Directorate (AFSAC).
After visiting AFLCMC Park went over to AFSAC for an extended mission briefing and deeper immersion into the FMS portfolio.
“It was an honor to welcome Major General Park to the Air Force Security Assistance and Cooperation Directorate,” said Geraghty. “The visit highlights the critical importance of the U.S.-Republic of Korea alliance, which serves as a cornerstone of peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region. Our discussions reaffirmed our shared commitment to strengthening our international partnership and advancing our mutual national security.”
