Navy Band Southwest’s Prevailing Winds Woodwind Quintet performed at a Purple Up Day morning assembly for students at Bancroft Elementary School on April 17, 2026 in honor of Month of the Military Child.
April is Month of the Military Child, a month designated to honor the strength, resilience, and sacrifice of children in military families. This month, Navy Band Southwest will be traveling to numerous schools across the greater San Diego area to celebrate military children through music.
