The 1-149th Attack Battalion, 36th Combat Aviation Brigade, Texas Army National Guard hosted a Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Boss Lift in Houston on April 17, 2026. Over 30 employers attended and flew in a CH-47 Chinook with two AH-64 Apache escorts around the Houston greater area. Civilian employers also viewed multiple weapons systems, military vehicles and aircraft. The Texas National Guard is committed to promoting cooperation and understanding between service members and their employers, through organizations like ESGR, to highlight what it truly means to be a citizen-soldier.
