    165th Airlift Wing

    A U.S. Air Force loadmaster and a U.S. Air Force crew chief assigned to the 165th Airlift Wing (AW), Georgia Air National Guard, conduct pre-flight operations for a C-130J Super Hercules aircraft prior to departure from the Savannah Air National Guard Base, Georgia, April 17, 2026. Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps cadets from Benedictine Military School participated in a tour of the 165 AW that included a C-130J orientation flight and interaction with Airmen through career field static displays, enhancing their understanding of Department of Defense roles and missions while introducing Air Force operations and careers.
