FLEET ACTIVITIES YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 15, 2026) -- A view of Unaccompanied Housing Building 1530's exterior renovations after scaffolding was removed as crews move to underground utilities April 15, 2026. Major mechanical and electrical systems are receiving a complete refit in addition to bedroom doors and insulated window installations to provide occupants more control over noise, temperature, and humidity as part of a $15 million modernization project.
