Local village leader Sheik Shehab Ahmed Saleh Al-Tamimi and Indiana Adjutant General Maj. Gen. R. Martin Umbarger cut the cake to commemorate the opening of a lube and oil service center on June 17 at Joint Base Balad, Iraq. The service center is one small part of the Iraqi-Based Industrial Zone initiative, which was created bolster economic growth throughout Iraqi communities by working with local leaders to provide new jobs and businesses.
