Speaking for the first time as the new 104th Maintenance Group (MXG) Commander, the Col. refflects on his journey to his fifth time in command during the Change of Command ceremonies for the Mission Support Group and MXG at Barnes Air National Guard Base in Westfield, Mass., April 12, 2026. Held back-to-back, the ceremonies marked a transition of leadership for the 104th Mission Support and Maintenance Groups. The 104th Fighter Wing's Executive Officer narrated the ceremonies, and the 104FW Chaplains led a joint invocation. The Mission Support Group welcomed new leadership as its former commander immediately took command of the Maintenance Group following the initial ceremony. Highlighting an intentional exchange between the two organizations, the transitions ensured continuity of leadership, focus on mission, and operational readiness for the wing.
