Omarr Tobias, commander, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Pacific, visits the Port Damage Repair (PDR) technical trainer construction site as part of a tour of Naval Construction Group (NCG) 1 spaces on Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme, Calif., April 15, 2026. NCG 1 is homeported in Pt. Hueneme and leads and manages the overall capability and readiness of its Naval Construction Regiments (NCR’s), Naval Mobile Construction Battalions (NMCB’s), Construction Battalion Maintenance Unit (CBMU), and Underwater Construction Team (UCT).
