International Military Students (IMS) from the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Course, Class 76 participated in an academic field trip, visiting key governmental, educational, and military sites April 7-11, 2026 in Austin and San Antonio, Texas. The trip included the Texas State Capitol, the University of Texas at Austin, and U.S. Army South headquarters at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston. As part of the International Military Student Office (IMSO) Field Studies Program, the trip was designed to provide the future senior enlisted leaders with a deeper understanding of American democracy, culture, and military partnerships, ultimately strengthening alliances and international cooperation. During the trip, all guest speakers were presented with an IMSO coin a a token of appreciation from the IMSO staff.
