Joshua Johnson, a ground command and control operations noncommissioned officer with U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Europe and Africa, left, is awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation medal during an awards ceremony at U.S. Army Garrison Panzer Kaserne, Stuttgart, Germany, Dec. 31, 2025. Johnson, a native of Wisconsin, was awarded the medal for his decisive response and lifesaving efforts after viewing a car crash on Dec. 24, 2024.
