U.S. Army Maj. Cheryl Miller, a medical physician short term individual augmentee with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency, helps fill a patient prescription during a medical outreach event in the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Feb. 13, 2026. Miller, assigned to 26-3LA recovery team 2, traveled off-site to provide medical outreach at RT 1’s site. DPAA holds medical outreach events as a way to give back to local workers and foster relations with Laos. Currently, more than 280 Americans are still unaccounted for in Laos.
