Secretary of the Air Force Troy Meink provides opening remarks during an acquisition transformation focused Town Hall event on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, April 3, 2026. Meink was visiting the installation for a two-day immersion tour where he learned about the many important missions that occur there. He also saw first-hand how the various Air Force Materiel Command organizations are getting after technological innovations in support of the Department of the Air Force’s acquisition transformation efforts.
