Grand Master Neil Farber, founder and head instructor of Kavanah, a system combining Krav Maga, Hisardut, and Kapap, teaches Knife Fighting Defensive techniques to Soldiers of the Fort Irwin Combatives Team.
44 soldiers across six weight classes competed during "Fort Irwin Fight Nights" that took place at Memorial Fitness Gym, 25 - 27 March 2026, where visiting celebrity martial artists demonstrated and taught fighting techniques to the participating combatants; sponsored by the High Desert Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA).
