From March 3–14, 2026, the 311th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) successfully conducted Crew Served Weapons Qualifications at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif. The training produced combat-ready formations capable of delivering lethal, accurate, and sustained firepower, while validating our ability to prepare subordinate commands for worldwide operations in support of the Army and joint partners. As the first Crew Served Weapons Qualification exercise hosted by the command, this event marked a significant milestone and set a new standard for training excellence. A total of 104 personnel across 54 crews qualified on their assigned weapon systems, achieving a 100 percent qualification rate and demonstrating the exceptional proficiency of our Soldiers. The exercise also produced 20 newly licensed drivers and reinforced disciplined radio communication across all crews. This effort went beyond qualification—we developed more competent, confident, and versatile Soldiers, reinforcing the exercise as a comprehensive readiness generator.
