A U.S. Marine assigned to I Marine Expeditionary Force conducts pre-operation checks and services on a Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement March 8, 2026, aboard the USNS Sgt. William W. Seay in the Philippine Sea. The checks and services were in preparation for a maritime prepositioning force offload at the Port of Cagayan de Oro, Philippines, in support of Exercise Balikatan 26. Balikatan is a longstanding annual exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. military designed to strengthen the ironclad alliance, improve combined capabilities and demonstrate commitment to regional security and stability.
