The Maneuver Center of Excellence host the opening ceremony for the 2026 Lacerda Cup Competition, April 7, 2026, at Camp Powell, on Fort Benning, Georgia. The competition is named in honor of the late Staff Sgt. Pedro Lacerda of the 75th Ranger Regiment, and recognizes the effectiveness of hand-to-hand fighting skills known as Modern Army Combatives.
