Federal, state and local leaders join the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District and the Harris County Flood Control District on Thursday for a ribbon cutting celebrating completion of the White Oak Bayou Federal Flood Damage Reduction Project in northeast Houston. The project helps reduce flood risk for nearby homes, businesses and transportation corridors.
