New washers and dryers are installed in Scorpion Hall barracks on Naval Submarine Base New London, Feb. 12, 2026. SUBASE received new furniture in barracks around base as part of Commander, Navy Installations Command's "Sailor First" initiative delivering real improvements to Navy Unaccompanied Housing from increased inspections and upgraded facilities to faster maintenance response and long-term modernization plans. We're investing in better living conditions so our Sailors can focus on the mission.
